Miguelangelo Veiga (n. Lisboa 1974) graduou-se em Pintura pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa em 2003. Desenvolve investigação no campo das artes visuais nomeadamente nas vertentes de Desenho, Pintura, Instalação e Vídeo.
Expõe regularmente deste 2000 destacando-se aqui a participação entre 1993 e 1998 no Grupo de Teatro Independente OLHO em Almada, Portugal e algumas exposições como “O Sítio das Artes” em 2007 no Centro de Arte Moderna promovido pela Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian no âmbito dos seus festejos do 50º Aniversário e em 2010 a participação, enquanto representante português, na exposição “Loop: Contemporary Video Art from the EU" na National Portrait Gallery em Washington, E.U.A.
Ainda por destacar a exposição de 2018 “Variations Portugaises” de Centro de Arte Contemporânea Abbaye Saint André - CAC Meymac em Meymac, France e em 2019 a exposição Constelações: Uma Coreografia de gestos mínimos no Museu Colecção Berardo, CCB, Lisboa, Portugal.
Encontra-se representado nacional e internacionalmente em colecções como PLMJ (Portugal), Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal), CAPC (Portugal), Al Maqam (colec. Mohamed Mourabiti, Marrocos), Fundação do Forum de Assilah (Marrocos) e Colecção Al Asmakh (Qatar).
Vive e trabalha em Lisboa, Portugal.
Miguelangelo Veiga graduated in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon in 2003. He develops research in the field of visual arts, particularly in the areas of Drawing, Painting, Installation and Video.
He regularly exhibits from the year 2000, highlighting the participation between 1993 and 1998 in the Group of Independent Theater OLHO in Almada, Portugal and some exhibitions such as "The Sítio das Artes" in 2007 at the Centro de Arte Moderna, promoted by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation within its celebrations of the 50th Anniversary and in 2010, representing Portugal, the participation in the exhibition "Loop: Contemporary Video Art from the EU" ) at the National Portrait Gallery, Washington, USA
Still to be highlighted is the 2018 exhibition "Variations Portugaises" in the Center for Contemporary Art Abbaye Saint André - CAC Meymac in Meymac, France and the exhibition Constellations: A choreography of minimal gestures in Berardo Collection Museum, CCB, Lisbon, Portugal.
